Hello. My name is Denise. Welcome to my little corner of the web. This is a work in progress and definitely a learning experience for me so I hope you will be patient with me and check back often to see how things are coming along.
What I am not. I am not an attorney, social worker or therapist. You will not find any professional services or advice within these posts. What you will find is encouragement and hopefully a few helpful hints along the way.
What I am is a wife to the same wonderful man for nearly four decades. Ok not quiet four decades, but pretty close. I am also a mom to four grown children and grandma to twelve (yes twelve) amazing grandchildren.
As you may have guessed by now some of these children have lived with myself and my husband. Four have resided with us and their parents making our home a multi-generational household for awhile. One child has split her time between our home and the home of her parents. Others have lived with us for a time while their parents worked to provide a better life for themselves and their children. My home has never been empty long enough for me to know what an empty nest feels like.
